A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

This is just a very small sketch I made after creating the first Submachine back in 2005. (Yes, 21 years ago).

I was exploring ways to expand this series. Sometimes you have good ideas, sometimes you miss the mark.

This version was scrapped before going any further as I recognized that Submachine without it's essential mechanic of moving between rooms is just not the same.

The rest is history.

Enjoy!

very good

So this is what we never had, huh? Interesting.

I can understand why you scrapped that, but it makes me wonder what could have been...

I’m thinking this is the only Submachine environment with 360° views (well, N,S,E,West ) while standing in one position…? 🤔  Submachine 5 has a near-360° (in location 1,2)  when traveling the perimeter of the 9-rooms, but that’s the only similarity I can think of.  I’m sure there’s a solid reason that 360° room explorations were never used in Submachine games…. It was a nice curve-ball to encounter in this S2 Sketch however!

No words to thank you for sharing it Mateuzs! After the card game I bought and played with friends, Submachine World remains my dream; for ever!

I remember playing this version around ~2012 I think. Found it somewhere randomly when binge playing all of the released Submachines.
